A woman and two children approach. She wants to visit sick friends in the army, who she does not name. However, she does have a pass signed by Captain Stephen Hall, who happens to be a company commander in the 7th Connecticut Regiment—your unit. Yet Captain Hall is away on furlough. He has been gone for a while.

As you are reading her pass, the woman asks about your unit. She seems concerned about how many supplies and weapons you have right now.
