Tower Fall Ski Trail
The Tower Fall Ski Trail is a 5.0 mile (8 km) easiest trail that allows skiers to enjoy canyon views of the Yellowstone River and Tower Falls. Begin at the parking area just southeast of Tower Junction. The trail follows the unplowed Tower-Canyon road up a gradual slope past Calcite Springs Overlook to Tower Fall. Great views of the Yellowstone River Canyon, occasional bison, bighorn sheep and bald eagles.
Notes: Bison and elk frequent this trail. Federal regulations require you to stay at least 100 yards (91 m) away from bears and wolves, and at least 25 yards (23 m) away from bison and all other wild animals.
