Daly Creek Ski Trail

The Daly Creek Ski Trail is a 12-mile (19.2-km) round-trip ski that takes skiers to the Sky Rim Trail and park boundary. The trailhead is located 28.8 miles (46.3 km) north of West Yellowstone along US Highway 191. The trail rises through meadows for 2 miles (3.2 km) to the Black Butte / Daly Creek Cutoff Trail 2 miles (3.2 km) east to the Black Butte Trail. The trail continues about 4 miles (6.4 km) to the Sky Rim Trail and park boundary. The Daly Creek drainage lies in a snow shadow, resulting in minimal snow cover.

Notes: Bison and elk frequent this trail. Federal regulations require you to stay at least 100 yards (91 m) away from bears and wolves, and at least 25 yards (23 m) away from bison and all other wild animals.
