Exterior Mansion, Gardens, and Grounds
The mansion exterior, gardens, and grounds are open year-round from dawn to dusk. Admission to Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park is free of charge.
Programs Sell Out Quickly, Reserve in Advance
Ranger-led programs are available five days a week during the visitor season (late May - October 31) from Friday to Tuesday. Advanced reservations are recommended, especially for Mansion or Belvedere programs, as they are limited to a total of 12 people.
To view the current program schedule and check availability, visit Recreation.gov. Reservations can be made online at Recreation.gov, by calling 802-457-3368 ext. 0, or in person at the Carriage Barn Visitor Center.

Mansion Open House
The first floor of the mansion is open for public viewing on Saturdays and Sundays, 12:30pm-2:30pm, from Memorial Day Weekend-October 31. Six visitors are allowed in the building at a time. Accessibility Information
During the visitor season (late May to October 31) a small accessible parking lot is available next to the mansion for anyone who cannot walk up the short, steep hill (no accessibility pass needed). Follow signs labeled for accessible parking at the park entrance. There is also a car service available for pick up from the bottom of the hill during special events and busy weekends.
All formal side mansion tours are wheelchair accessible. Please let us know in advance of your visit if you or a member of your group is using a wheelchair so that we can set up our temporary wheelchair ramp. There is an elevator in the mansion for access to all floors on the formal side.
The Carriage Barn Visitor Center is wheelchair accessible.
Assisted Listening Devices are available for tours with advanced notice. The ranger will carry a microphone and the needed participant will carry an earpiece.
