Thing to Do
Hike the Monroe Run Trail and Meadow Mountain Trail

Beginning at the western end of the Savage River Reservoir, this 9-mile hike ascends approximately 1900 feet, includes numerous creek crossings, and ends at a viewpoint above State Route 495 on the Meadow Mountain Trail. Following the "Do the Loop" clockwise, the route description climbs from the Reservoir. These trails can, of course, be hiked downhill from trailheads located along State Route 495.
