The Rock Harbor Trail cuts inland when it leaves the Daisy Farm Campground. A 0.2 mile jaunt down the trail leads to the junction of the Daisy Farm Trail and Rock Harbor Trail. The Daisy Farm Trail is 1.7 miles long and connects to the Greenstone Ridge Trail.
The Rock Harbor Trail continues from this junction to Moskey Basin in about 3.5 miles. Shortly after this junction is a rocky outcropping that offers one of the few scenic views of Moskey Basin along this stretch of trail. This section of the Rock Harbor Trail rolls over rocky hills and dips through forested areas. Keep eyes peeled for cairns that mark the way. After trekking 3.5 miles arrive at a junction for the Lake Richie Trail and Moskey Basin Campground. Moskey Basin Campground is located at the end of the Rock Harbor Channel and offers excellent sunrise viewing.
