Become a Junior Ranger at Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park
Junior Ranger Program
Grab a Junior Ranger book at the Carriage Barn Visitor Center to get started on your self-guided journey on the Junior Ranger loop. After you complete the book, come back to the Visitor Center to take the oath earn your badge!If you aren't able to visit the park, download the Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park Junior Ranger Book, and complete the book on your own on a trail of your choice. When you are finished, email us with your mailing address to earn your badge!
Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park Junior Ranger badges are created with sustainably harvested wood from right here at the National Park!

Carriage Barn Visitor Center at Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park
The Carriage Barn Visitor Center was built on the foundation of an earlier stable in 1895 to house the Billings Family horses, carriages and sleighs.
The building is currently used as the headquarters and visitor center for Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park.
The building is open 10am-5pm, Memorial Day weekend until October 31. The main floor contains the exhibit Conservation Stewardship: A Place in the Land, an America's National Parks bookstore, a reading area, and restrooms. Park Rangers are available to assist with site information and orientation during open hours. Junior Ranger books and passport stamps are available at this location. Tour tickets are available for purchase, but advanced reservations are preferred. For more information on advanced reservations, visit Guided Tours.
