Students will discuss how traits change through organism's life cycles and their impact on survivability. Afterwards, they will apply this knowledge to a cave habitat by determining which animals have traits that best support survival. Students will serve as judges in the Deep Down Showdown, an interactive "game show" with animals competing to survive in Timpanogos Cave!
How to Participate
Because our lessons are interactive, certain technology is required to participate. Access to a computer, a web camera (with a built-in microphone), a projector, speakers, a video conferencing platform (e.g. Google Meets, Zoom, or Teams), and a stable high-speed internet connection is required.
Lessons are available from August- April (Excluding December and January). Each lesson is an hour, unless otherwise requested.
To request a Virtual Visit, use our Microsoft Bookings Page. You will receive a confirmation email with further instructions on how to confirm your booking. If your school would like multiple presentations in a single day, email our Education Specialist directly.
