Scenic Drive and Trails The scenic drive and all trails are open year round, day and night, unless extreme snowfall or other weather events make them impassable. The Visitor Center The Sunset Crater Volcano Visitor Center is open Thursday- Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Holiday closures include Thanksgiving Day, December 25 and January 1.
NOTE: Most of Arizona does not observe Daylight Savings Time. We stay on Mountain Standard Time year round. |
