The National Center for Preservation Technology and Training is established to develop and distribute preservation and conservation skills and technologies for the identification, evaluation, conservation, and interpretation of historic property. We recognize there is an abundance of interest in preservation training and wish to assist the community in aggregating information about events. We want to hear about your event so that we may share it with the broader preservation community.
The list below shows available hands-on workshops, online how-to tutorials, and other learning resources as a clearinghouse of preservation, conservation, and traditional trades training. Whether you are a professional conservator, own a historic home, or want to learn how to properly clean grave markers in a local cemetery, we hope you find these resources useful.
If you host a workshop, training, or other event in preservation, conservation, or traditional trades, you may contact us and voluntarily provide the event title, a 100-word description, a web address for more information, keywords, dates, event location, and a photo, to have your event added to this list.
