Sequoia National Park Lodging
Wuksachi Lodge
Wuksachi Lodge will be temporarily closed beginning January 6, 2025, and re-opening on March 14, 2025.
Wuksachi Lodge is located in the Giant Forest area of Sequoia National Park. This modern lodge offers 102 guest rooms, a full-service restaurant, cocktail lounge, and a gift shop. The lodge is located two miles from Lodgepole Village and four miles from Giant Forest Museum. Hiking trails from the lodge lead to Cahoon Meadow, Twin Lakes, and Lodgepole.
At an elevation of 7,050 feet (1,980 m), it's snowy in winter. Chains may be required to reach the lodge during winter storms.
Kings Canyon National Park Lodging
John Muir Lodge
John Muir Lodge is temporarily closed. Re-opening March 22, 2025.

John Muir Lodge, in Grant Grove Village in the Grant Grove area of Kings Canyon National Park, offers 36 hotel rooms and a restaurant. The lodge is one-half mile (.8 km) from a sequoia grove, visitor center, market, restaurant, gift shop, and post office. Hiking trails in the area lead to the General Grant Tree, Panoramic Point, and other Grant Grove features.
Grant Grove Cabins
The Grant Grove Cabins are temporarily closed. Re-opening March 22, 2025.
The Grant Grove Cabins are in the Grant Grove area of Kings Canyon National Park, one-half mile (.8 km) from a sequoia grove, visitor center, market, restaurant, gift shop, and post office. Guests can choose from six types of cabins, some of which are available year-round. At an elevation of 6,500 feet (1,980 m), this area is snowy in winter. Tire chains may be needed during winter storms.
Features in this area include the General Grant Tree, Panoramic Point, Big Stump, and the Sunset Loop.
Cedar Grove Lodge
Cedar Grove Lodge is currently closed for the winter season. Re-opening May 10, 2025.
The Cedar Grove area of Kings Canyon National Park is open from spring through fall. Cedar Grove Lodge is located deep in Kings Canyon at an elevation of 4,600 feet (1402 m). The lodge offers 21 hotel rooms, a snack bar, market, and gift shop. The lodge is also within walking distance of Cedar Grove's visitor center.
Features in the area include Roaring River Falls, Zumwalt Meadow, and Muir Rock. Hiking trails range from easy to strenuous.
Wilderness Lodging
Our partners offer two lodging experiences in Sequoia and Kings Canyon Wilderness. Bearpaw High Sierra Camp is eleven miles out on the High Sierra Trail, and offers comfortable cabins for wilderness hikers. Pear Lake Winter Hut is a rustic cabin for wilderness skiers.
