The Fire Information Office facilitates access for journalists, broadcast media, and the press on the coverage of the parks’ wildland fire, prescribed burn, structure fire, and aviation programs. This includes taped and live on-camera, in-person, radio, telephone, and even video chat-based interviews with firefighters, fire staff, and other support personnel. Note: Due to the inherent dangers associated with coverage of fire and aviation activities, all media engaged in frontline coverage are required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE). We can provide materials with reasonable notice. |
