There are many ways to enjoy and experience San Juan National Historic Site. You are welcome to:

Attend a Ranger Led Program:

Be part of our interpretive talks throughout the day on your World Heritage Site.

Explore the Forts:

Walk and explore these magnificent forts! Enjoy the views of the highest points of old San Juan, see how the soldiers use to live, go through our tunnels, go inside of the sentry boxes and WWII lookouts, learn from the exhibitions explaining the history of this forts, see our cannons, and watch the park film.

Become a Junior Ranger:

Take a tour and complete the San Juan National Historic Site Junior Ranger Book and become a Junior Ranger!

Picnic:

Relax and enjoy the outdoors. Come and dine watching the sunset next to the bay of Old San Juan and in front of Castillo San Felipe del Morro.

Fly a Kite:

The esplanade of Castillo San Felipe del Morro is a perfect spot for plenty of family activities and flying kites are one of those.

Walk Our Trails:

Go for a walk through the Paseo del Morro and enjoy the views across the bay, the Atlantic Ocean breeze, and the massive stone walls. Stroll through the nature trails behind El Morro.

Bird Watching:

Exploring our Nature Trail, you can enjoy of the beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean and spot many of the migratory or resident birds of Old San Juan.

Stargazing:

The esplanade of Castillo San Felipe del Morro high altitude and low light pollution made it the perfect spot in Old San Juan to see the stars and enjoy a full moon.
