On foot
If arriving by cruise ship, most piers are within walking distance (10-15 minutes). Just walk north, up the hill, past the Plaza Colon to reach Calle Norzagaray.  You will see Castillo San Cristóbal from the Plaza Colon and Castillo San Felipe del Morro is a 15 minute walk up Calle Norzagaray from San Cristóbal.  The Pan-American pier is 3 miles away.  Taxis are available.

If taking a ridehailing service to or from San Juan National Historic Site, take note of the designated pick-up and drop-off sites for ridehailing vehicles at the San Cristobal and El Morro locations. Uber operates in Puerto Rico, while Lyft does not.

If arriving by ridehailing service at Castillo San Cristobal, your driver will pick you up and drop you off at the Plaza Colon. The entrance to Castillo San Cristobal is at the Plaza Norzagaray at the corner of Calle Sol and Calle Norzagaray. It’s a four to five-minute walk to this entrance from the pick-up/drop-off location. Use caution crossing the streets at all crosswalk intersections.
