The Park

The St. Croix and Namekagon rivers are open year-round for you to explore.

• Watch for alerts and check the current conditions.
• High water conditions may create unsafe river conditions and floor river landings and campsites.
• Winter snows often limit access to landings, trails, and campsites.
• Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am.

Visitor Centers

 

St. Croix River Visitor Center

Open mid-April through the end of October 10:00 am to 5:00 pm daily including all federal holidays.

Passport to Your National Park Stamp

The Riverway stamp for the “Passport to Your National Parks” program is available when the visitor centers are closed at the Polk County Information Center located at the intersection of Highways 8 and 35 in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin. Phone: (800) 222-POLK
