Audio Description

Audio description is provided for the park film at Beaver Meadows and Kawuneeche Visitor Centers. To borrow an audio description device, talk to a staff member at the information desk at Beaver Meadows or Kawuneeche.

The park brochure is audio-described and is available in text and audio formats on our Brochures page.

Braille

The main park brochure is available in braille. You can download the braille ready file to print at home or pick up a copy of the braille brochure from the information desk.

Tactile Maps and Models

The following locations have tactile maps of the park and nearby area:

  • Alpine Visitor Center: small scale, plastic relief map, located on the information desk

  • Beaver Meadows Visitor Center: large scale, bronze, located just outside the entrance

  • Fall River Visitor Center: small scale, plastic relief map, located on the information desk

  • Kawuneeche Visitor Center: large scale, composite relief map, located across from the information desk

Fall River Visitor Center also has life-size bronze tactile models of animals.
