Olive-sided Flycatcher

Size: 7-8”
Description: Mostly gray with a dull-white chin, breast and belly.
Migratory Status: Summer residents of Rocky Mountain National Park.
Habitat: Live in mature spruce-fir and Douglas-fir forests especially near steep slopes and cliffs to 11,500 feet.
Diet: Eat insects, especially bees, and forage by perching on dead tops and branches, catching prey on the wing and returning to the branch.
