Kick off the summer program season with park ranger Don Cope on Saturday, May 26, at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium at Beaver Meadows Visitor Center in Rocky Mountain National Park. Don will be presenting a program on all the park’s amazing mammals. Memorial Day weekend not only celebrates the opening of Trail Ridge Road for the summer season, but the return of park rangers to the Saturday Evening Programs at Beaver Meadows Visitor Center. RockyMountain National Parkhas a diverse population of mammals. May is a great time of year to see most of the wildlife in the park. Find out where the mammals are and how they survive extreme weather conditions year round in the park’s high country. Learn the role each mammal plays in the park and how they interact. Even the more elusive wildlife will be seen during this 45 minute illustrated program. All programs are free and open to the public.
