In 2003, Point Reyes National Seashore Association (PRNSA) established the art gallery in the Red Barn Classroom at Point Reyes National Seashore. Rotating painting, photography, and educational exhibits several times a year, themes of the selected shows reflect the natural or cultural aspects of the Seashore and surrounding area. "Marin, Sweet Marin" Born in France, West Marin artist Emmeline Craig infuses her oil and watercolor paintings with blissfulness. Her intention is to soothe the mind, lift the spirit and feed the soul with primal exhilaration. Her landscapes incorporate peacefulness with whimsical humanity and place us in simple and beautiful landscapes that are unique to Marin. Her exhibit featured original works and Giclee prints on canvas and paper. In addition to the exhibition, the public was invited to an artist's reception at the Red Barn Classroom on Saturday, October 27, 2012. 
"BayWood Artists Celebrate Point Reyes: 50 Years of Beauty" The BayWood Artists is a non-profit organization of well known professional artists dedicated to preserving the open spaces of the greater Bay Area, the lands they love, for future generations. Through annual exhibits and the sale of paintings, the artists hope to focus attention on, and raise funds and awareness for, those lands and the organizations committed to their preservation. This year's exhibitions celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Point Reyes National Seashore and raises funds for the Point Reyes National Seashore Association. BayWood Artists: Chris Adessa, Christin Coy, Ben Farnham, Jon Francis, Paul Krattner, Sherrill Miller, Victoria Mimiaga, Zenaida Mott, Lissa Nicolaus, Tom Soltesz. 2012 Guest Artists: Krystal Allen, Martha Borge. After the September 2012 BayWood Artists exhibition in the Red Barn Classroom ended on September 27, the show continued at The Bay Model Gallery at 2100 Bridgeway, Sausalito from October 5 to 26, 2012. The public was also invited to an Artists' Reception on Friday, October 5, 2012, at the Bay Model. 
"Pastel Visions - West Marin and Beyond" Bobbie Belvel's artwork depicts scenes of West Marin and points north and south along the coast. Bobbie Belvel is Point Reyes National Seashore's facilities management budget analyst. In addition to the exhibition, the public was invited to an artists' reception at the Red Barn Classroom on Saturday, August 4, 2012. 
"Picturing the Point Reyes Peninsula" The public was invited to revisit the people and landscapes of the Peninsula through historic photographs and captions examining the area's history. The exhibit touched upon the Coast Miwok, 16th century explorers, the Mexican Land grant era, and the settlement of West Marin after the Gold Rush as a major dairy ranching and recreation area. The photographs that were displayed are from the Point Reyes National Seashore Archives and the Jack Mason Museum of West Marin History. 
"California Art Club Celebrates 50 Years of Point Reyes National Seashore" The San Francisco chapter of the California Art Club presented a selection of juried plein air landscape oil paintings created within Point Reyes National Seashore to kick off a year-long celebration of the park's 50th Anniversary. The paintings were on display in the Red Barn Classroom weekdays from Friday, January 13, 2012, through Thursday, April 5, 2012. There was also an artists' reception on March 10, 2012. The California Art Club was established in Los Angeles in 1909 to promote the fine arts and has nine chapters around the state. This exhibition featured work by: Chris Adessa, Nanette Biers, Christin Coy, Laura Culver, Michele DeBraganca, Paul Kensinger, Glen Kramer, Paul Kratter, Richard Lindenberg, Mark Monsarrat, Kathy O'Leary, Thomas Soltesz, Robert Steele and Dennis Ziemienski.
