Dining at Oregon Caves National Monument

Currently, no dining options are available within the park. Visitors are strongly encouraged to bring a picnic or dine in Cave Junction before traveling to the caves.

The Oregon Caves Chateau Café and dining room are CLOSED for extensive repairs and rehabilitation. This project will address critical issues, including life, health, safety, and accessibility concerns, while preserving the building's historic integrity.

The Caves Café, located inside a 1930s-style diner, offers traditional American fare and is best known for its old-fashioned milkshakes. Visitors can enjoy a nostalgic meal during their park visit. The café operates daily from early May through early October, from 7 AM to 5 PM.

The Chateau Dining Room offers a scenic dining experience with creek-side views and an impressive look into the surrounding canyon. Guests can enjoy Northwest cuisine, featuring the finest locally-grown foods and regional favorites from Illinois Valley and Rogue Valley, including artisanal cheeses and wines.

The dining room is open for dinner from early May through early October, from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM.
