All necessary gear is provided. Participants are encouraged to bring drinking water, sturdy footwear, a willingness to try new things and a can-do attitude. Depending on interests and ability levels, participants will travel with rangers to one of several different climbing areas around the park. Participants will be back to their vehicles by approximately 3 p.m. Would be rock climbers of all ages are encouraged to attend. These programs will be held regardless of weather conditions. Attend one program or both. No reservations are necessary for these free events. For more information, please contact the Obed Wild and Scenic River at (423) 346-6294. |
