Virtual programs are a great tool to allow access to Obed’s resources and information regardless of students’ location!

Live Programs

Our live programs are around 30-45 minutes and are broadcasted right into your classroom. This allows students the opportunity to interact directly with a park ranger. A projector, internet access, sound system, and access to a video streaming platform is required for these programs.

The following are popular requested programs: Geology, NPS Careers, Park Ecology and Habitats, Adaptations, Basic Astronomy, Park Management and Environmental Issues, Seasonal Changes, Aquatic Macroinvertebrates, Watersheds, and the Water Cycle.

 

Pre-Recorded Programs

These programs are pre-recorded and ready to be played at your convenience. To ensure that our virtual content is engaging and interactive, each video is accompanied with an in-class activity.
