The small community of Stehekin, situated along the lower few miles of the Stehekin River, has no road connections to the rest of the world. Visitors and residents arrive by passenger ferry, private boat, floatplane, horseback and on foot. The beautiful Stehekin Valley offers a pleasant escape from life's frantic pace.
