Navajo National Monument is open year-round, but the Visitor Center is closed for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day. Three (3) self-guided trails and Sunset View Campground remain open even when the Visitor Center is closed.

• Regular Business Hours: The Visitor Center is open daily from 9AM to 5PM (MDT).
• Hazardous Weather Conditions: Please be advised that the park may experience delayed openings or closure due to severe weather or conditions. Restrictions may occur for areas of the park due to hazardous conditions. The road to the park may be impassible due to snow and ice. Heavy rains can cause flash flooding.
• Time Change: From March to November, the Navajo Nation including the park observes Mountain Daylight Savings Time (MSDT) which is one hour ahead of the rest of Arizona (Flagstaff, Page, Grand Canyon).
• Know Before You Go: Check weather forecasts, share your travel plans, know your physical limits, and plan your trip accordingly.
• Contact Park: Dial 911 for emergencies. Call park staff for more park information at 928-672-2700 or email park staff.
