Public Meetings for Pennsylvania Avenue
The National Park Service is in the process of developing the Environmental Assessment (EA) for Pennsylvania Avenue. The planning team expects that the EA will be available for public review by Spring 2013.
The National Park Service (NPS), the National Capital Planning Commission (NCPC), US General Services Administration, and the District of Columbia invite you to attend a public meeting to discuss master planning for the long-term management of Pennsylvania Avenue.
A meeting was held on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at NCPC’s offices, 401 9th Street, NW, Washington, DC. This location is accessible via the Archives/Navy Memorial/Penn Quarter or Gallery Place metro stations. During the meeting, the project team discussed alternatives and the public was invited to learn about the plan and provide input to help inform the pending Planning document and consultation under Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act.
