Notice to the Public of a Temporary Closure of Farmington Landing

August 24: Farmington Landing will be closed beginning at 12:00 am on August 24, 2026 until December 31, 2026 at 11:59 pm.

Violation is prohibited. A map illustrating the closed park areas is attached.

This temporary closure is necessary during a comprehensive rehabilitation project to restore park resources and improve the visitor experience. Work will include resurfacing the parking lot, replacing parking barriers, replacing trash cans with new wildlife-proof trash cans, and installing new fishing rod holders.

Persons using these park areas should remove themselves and any property from the closed area.

The National Park Service appreciates the public’s cooperation in this matter.
