Hummingbirds

Rufous hummingbirds are a common hummingbird species in the park, but Calliope hummingbirds (Selasphorus calliope) can sometimes visit the park's subalpine wildflower meadows as well. Birds in Order Caprimulgiformes are diverse, including not just hummingbirds, but also nighthawks and swifts.
