The new national monument was made possible in part by land donations from The Mill Springs Battlefield Association and the government of Pulaski County, Kentucky. The National Park Service is working to acquire additional properties. The authorized monument boundary includes discontiguous sections both north and south of Lake Cumberland:

NOTE: There is no ferry to connect Beech Grove to Mill Springs Crossing. Drivers will have to retrace their path on roadways. |
