Explore waysides and exhibit panels throughout Oak Ridge. The largest of the three secret cities, Oak Ridge was home to top-secret uranium enrichment during the Manhattan Project. The uranium enriched at Oak Ridge was shipped to Los Alamos where it fueled Little Boy, the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima, Japan on August 6, 1945.

Publicly accessible waysides are located throughout the City of Oak Ridge. Exhibit panels at the X-10 Graphite Reactor are only accessible in-person via Department of Energy-led guided tours.
