People help preserve Manzanar National Historic Site and share it's stories in many ways. Some are volunteers or interns, some donate archives and artifacts, more than six hundred people have shared their memories through oral history interviews. Some have contributed through all of the above!
National Park Service
Donations made to the National Park Service at and for Manzanar National Historic Site directly support the site’s programs and projects. Donations can be made via credit/debit cards, bank accounts, an Amazon account, or through PayPal.
Eastern Sierra Interpetive Association
Eastern Sierra Interpretive Association (ESIA) is a 501(c)3 Cooperating Association dedicated to educating and inspiring people about Eastern Sierra Public Lands through interpretive products, exhibits, and programs. As one of the most important partnerships of the National Park Service, Cooperating Associations support educational, scientific, historical, and interpretive activities through retail sales, product development, programs, and memberships. Since 2018, ESIA has served as Manzanar’s Cooperating Association All profits from the Manzanar store support Manzanar National Historic Site. Shop or become a member today.
The Fund for People in Parks
An official philanthropic fundraising partner of the National Park Service, The Fund for People in Parks provides private funding and professional services to complete inspirational projects that enhance the visitor experience in western National Parks.
