Join a Park Ranger to learn the maps of the First or Second Battle of Manassas! Battlefield in a Box is an interactive program, designed to get you standing on a recreated map of the battlefield. Take charge of a unit and help make command decisions as you see and hear the battle unfold before you. The program is designed for amatuers and experts alike! Help rethink, restrategize, and take a commander's view of the battles of Manassas! Battlefield in a Box will last approximately 1 hour. Meet outside the front of the visitor center near the large stone patio.

One of the most powerful ways to tour a battlefield is to walk in the footsteps of the soldiers who fell in combat. Face of Battle is designed to follow one soldier in combat. You'll learn about their personal thoughts, reasons for fighting, what the regiment did in combat, and what one soldier's death meant to their comrades and family. Face of Battle will last approximately 1 hour. Meeting location is determined by soldier we will be following, please check our website calendar for the most up-to-date information. Join Park Staff on a guided tour of the historic Stone House on Manassas National Battlefield Park. The house's history stretches from before the Civil War to this very day! Go from room to room and hear the stories come alive inside its walls. From a waystation on the Warrenton Turnpike, to a hospital during the battles of Manassas, to a family home and community center post-war, the Stone House has many stories to tell!
Stone House Tours last 30 minutes and take you through the multiple rooms on the two floors of the Stone House. Please be mindful, the steps to enter the house and navigate the two floors are steep. There is no elevator inside the structure.
