Lincoln Home National Historic Site offers visitors the opportunity to watch multiple interpretive films for free inside the Lincoln Home Visitor Center. Films play daily on the hour and half-hour. The first showing of the film is at 9am and the last is at 4:30pm. Films are captioned and foreign-language subtitled versions of the films are available on a separate device for viewing per request from the Visitor Center front desk. Abraham Lincoln: A Journey to GreatnessA theatrical documentary produced for Lincoln Home National Historic Site, Abraham Lincoln: A Journey to Greatness brings history to life and captures the portrait of a humble man who was destined for greatness. Join Lincoln on his dramatic journey from Springfield, Illinois to the White House.Stirring music and a high-tech sound system add to the drama as the film looks at Lincoln before he was an icon. The film plays in Theater 1 of the Visitor Center every hour and half hour (10:00, 10:30, 11:00, etc.) and runs 23 minutes.
