The air we breathe is critical to good health and comfort in our daily lives. Air quality standards throughout Springfield and the state of Illinois are monitored by the Illinois EPA. The air quality index for central Illinois has been rated "Good" by the EPA.

At Lincoln Home, air quality is an important aspect of visitor comfort and safety. Many of the negative aspects of outdoor urban air quality have been reduced by the presence of trees and shrubs, which positively affect the the neighborhood's air quality. Indoor air quality is also monitored to provide high standards for visitors.
