Volunteers are vital to the success of the National Park Service (NPS). Each year more than 120,000 volunteers donate well over four million hours of service to the national parks. Volunteers come from every state and many different countries to help preserve and protect America’s natural resources and cultural heritage.

Looking for a meaningful way to give back and support the National Park Service in its mission to preserve and protect our national parks? We’d be excited to have you join our volunteer team.

We are currently seeking Interpretation and Education Volunteers, Gardening Volunteers, and Visitor Services Assistant Volunteers to help enhance the visitor experience and care for park resources.
