Coming This Month: The Last Lincoln Republican

The newest title in the American Presidential Elections Series from the University Press of Kansas is the story of the James A. Garfield versus Winfield Scott Hancock contest of 1880.

The Army, the Railroads, the Generals, and the Indians: Conflict in America after the Civil War

This talk will explore the roles of Generals Grant and Sherman, Hancock and Sheridan in the clash between the United States and the Native Americans in the years after the Civil War.
