About the Artist

Emily Quackenbush was a Teen Artist-in-Residence at Isle Royale National Park from June 22 to June 26, 2021. She hails from Omaha, Nebraska, but has long appreciated the woods, colors, and wilderness of the Upper Peninsula. Emily's work incorporates multiple methods and media, stretching from chalk pastel, to graphite, colored pencil, acrylics, and ink.
