NPS/Elisha Houle About the ArtistElisha Houle was the very first Isle Royale Teen Artist, from August 6th to August 13th, 2016. At the time of her residency, she said her "specialty was pencil sketches, portraits mostly. I also do water color, acrylics, clay and sculptures, and mixed media."When asked about her time on the island, she said "Isle Royale and the Teen Artist Exploration has opened my life to so many amazing things. My art has taken on a new dynamic; I appreciate so much more the wild and natural ways of life the Island showed me." Elisha is from Hancock, Michigan.
