About the Artist

Christine Flavin was an Isle Royale Artist-in-Residence from July 24th to August 8th, 2009. She is currently an instructor and director of the photography program at Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Prior to that, she worked in the arts program at Northern Michigan University in Marquette, Michigan. Her work has been exhibited internationally.
