The hardest part may be choosing what to explore! Guided Tours - Take a guided tour of the historic Truman Home. With thousands of artifacts on display, the home is an insightful glimpse into the personal lives of the Truman family. Each tour is limited to 8 visitors. There is no fee to take a tour of the Home. Tours are first come, first served. The number of tours offered each day can change depending on staffing. It is advised to call (816)254-9929 to inquire what tours are available. Audio Tours – Follow in the footsteps of the 33rd US President. Take a stroll through Harry's neighborhood, historic downtown Independence, or explore the Truman farm grounds. Park Film – Watch the park's free introductory film, "At Home with Harry & Bess." Film plays every fifteen minutes at the visitor center at 223 N. Main St. Visit the Truman Farm - The Truman Farm in Grandview, Missouri is located at 12301 Blue Ridge Blvd. Grounds are open year-round for self-guided tours. Audio tour available onsite. Visit the Noland Home - Visit the home of Harry's cousins to learn more about Harry & Bess's courtship and life in the neighborhood. Free self-guided exhibits. Become a Junior Ranger - Children ages 5-12 can participate in our Junior Ranger program. After visiting the site and completing several Truman-related activities, children are sworn in as official Junior Rangers and receive a badge.
