Food, gas, lodging and similar services are not available at Hovenweep. These are available in nearby towns like Blanding, UT, Monticello, UT and Cortez, CO. Visit the San Juan County Travel Council for more information about southeast Utah, or Mesa Verde Country for information about southwest Colorado.

Cell phone coverage in the park is sporadic. Verizon wireless offers the most reliable service. AT&T provides service in some places at Hovenweep, however it is not totally reliable.

Disposable water bottles are not sold at Hovenweep. Faucets at the visitor center (year-round) and campground (seasonally) provide water for visitors to refill their reusable water bottles.

Very limited snacks (granola bars, jerky) and personal care items (sunscreen, bug spray) are available for sale at the visitor center.

The nearest gas station is in Aneth, UT (around 20 miles).
