Police, accident, and incident reports

The Office of Public Trust (OPT) is handles Routine Use Requests for police, accident, or incident reports, these Routine Use Requests are not FOIA Requests but Privacy Act Requests. All individuals seeking copies of police, accident, or incident reports must submit their requests through the Department of the Interior’s secure portal: Privacy Act Requests US Department of the Interior.

FOIA requests should be submitted to FOIA.gov - Freedom of Information Act and will be processed through the FOIA office as per standard procedures.
