Recycling in the Park

Recycling is just one easy action you can take to reduce your impact on the environment, and become a better steward of National Parks. At Grand Teton, we use a source separated recycling system. This means that it's up to you to sort recyclables by material, before placing them in the bin. Luckily, sorting your recyclables is easier than ever, thanks to new universal recycling signs on bins throughout the park.

Specialty Recycling

Grand Teton National Park also recycles special items that you might be more likely to use in a National Park, including:

• Bear Spray Canisters

• Camping Propane Cylinders

Return unused or empty bear spray canisters to any one of Grand Teton's visitor centers, and recycle propane canisters in campgrounds and visitor centers. Find a ranger for more information.
