Fish Species Within the Park

That is correct!

There are approximately 63 species of fish within the park. This number does not include “part-time” resident species such as carp, walleye, and sauger. These fish are found in reservoir embayments along the park’s Fontana and Chilhowee Lake borders. A complete list can be found on the Great Smoky Mountains National Park website at https://www.nps.gov/grsm/naturescience/fish-checklist.htm
