Note - if you arrive when a visitor center is closed: trip planning and hiking information is available outside, through a series of sidewalk signs.

Grand Canyon Visitor Center (South Rim)

• The Visitor Center is open from 9 am to 4 pm today.
• Trip planning and hiking information is available through permanent exhibits and sidewalk signs outside of the visitor center building.

• Grand Canyon Conservancy Park Store (across the plaza from the Visitor Center) is open daily 8 am to 6 pm, with:
  • Passport To Your National Parks® stamps
  • Junior Ranger books/badges

• Ranger programs and astronomy presentations: View the schedule in the Calendar.

Bright Angel Bicycle Rentals and Café (across the plaza from the Visitor Center)

 

Verkamp's Visitor Center

• Located in the Village Historic District - Open daily from 8 am to 6 pm

• Frequented by visitors who arrive on the train, Verkamp's features exhibits about the history of Grand Canyon Village and a museum store.

 

 

 

 

The North Rim is CLOSED for the Winter

• The park entrance gate on State Route 67, which provides vehicular access to the North Rim, is closed to all vehicle traffic for the winter.

• Between December 1, and May 14, North Rim roads are closed to all vehicles (including snowmobiles) No visitor services are available.
