Electric Vehicle Charging Stations

Electric vehicle (EV) charging stations are located in Grand Canyon Village (South Rim)

• No EV charging is available at Desert View or on the North Rim.
• All EV chargers around the Village are Level II, open to the public, and free of charge.
• While most of the EV chargers in the park offer a J1772 type plug, three Tesla chargers are available at Yavapai Lodge East.

 

 

As seen in this overview map of the Grand Canyon Village on the South Rim, electric vehicle (EV) charging stations are located in two areas. 1) In the center of the village at Market Plaza and at Yavapai Lodge East, and 2) At Maswik Lodge on the west side of the Village Historic District. Market Plaza and Yavapai Lodge East

UPDATE: April 24, 2023.

• (2) J1772 chargers on the north end of Parking Lot B, next to the Yavapai Lodge shuttle stop, are not in service at this time.

Maswik Lodge — North and South

 

Maswik Lodge has a total of seven EV charging stations. Left Photo: Maswik Lodge North has two J1772 chargers in front of the single story building named Cliffrose. Right Photo: Maswik Lodge South had four J1772 chargers on the west side of the two story lodge buildings. A single Handicap charging station is located on the east side of the lodge buildings, and is indicated by the ISA symbol on the map.  All EV chargers around the village are open to the public, and free of charge.
