Natural sounds are an important part of Grand Canyon National Park. Rustling winds in the canyons and the rush of waters are the heartbeat and breath of some of our most valuable resources. You can create your own soundscape by playing more than one sound at the same time.

  Bass Rapid (Colorado River Mile 108) is classified as a Class 3 Rapid on the Grand Canyon Scale. A boulder bar is located mid-channel. and can be passed either on the right or left.
