Grand Canyon Conservancy

(GCC) is the official nonprofit partner of Grand Canyon National Park, created in 1932 to cultivate knowledge, discovery, and stewardship for the benefit of the park and its visitors.

Do you have an RV and want to work at Grand Canyon this season? GCC is hiring seasonal staff to work in their retail locations throughout the South Rim of the park.

Grand Canyon National Park participates in the National Park Service's Volunteers in Parks program.

Each year more than 85,000 volunteers donate more than 3,000,000 hours of service in the national parks.The program uses voluntary help in a way that is mutually beneficial to the National Park Service and the volunteer.

Youth Opportunities

Looking for a job or internship opportunity? The following programs are available at Grand Canyon and other federal lands:

• Arizona Conservation Corp (AZCC) focuses on connecting youth, young adults and veterans with public lands. Crews work across Arizona and promotes diversity in its participants.

• Southwest Conservation Corps (SCC) provides high school students, college students, and veterans opportunities to engage with public lands in the frontcountry and backcountry.

• Student Conservation Association (SCA) focuses on buliding the next generation of conservation leaders through life skills, conservation service, and career development.

• American Conservation Experience (ACE) engages youth of all backgrounds in public land service opportunities through a variety of programs.

• AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps (NCCC) offers a variety of team-based and transformitive programs for youth, based on interest and experience.

• Scientists in Parks places aspiring professionals interested in natural resource management into National Parks around the country, encouraging diversity and professional skill building.

• Youth Conservation Corps (YCC), intended for ages 15 through 18, employs youth from a variety of backgrounds into full time jobs at various National Park units throughout the country. Most are non-residential programs and work generally lasts 8 to 10 weeks.
