Permits and/or reservations are required for parking (fishing, boat trailer and nature study), special use of the Fort Wadsworth overlook, ceremonies, athletic fields, Miller Field gardens, after hours park access, special events, filming and photography. Contact [phone].

Boat Launch Parking Permits
2024 Boat Launch Parking Permits will go on sale at 10 am ONLINE ONLY through recreation.gov at 10 am on March 1. Find out more on the 2024 permits page.The Great Kills Park Boat Launch is typically open from April 1 to Dec 1.

Please Remember:

• A boat launch permit is required to park within the boat launch parking area.

• A boat trailer must be attached to your vehicle within the boat launch parking area.

• Boat launch parking is limited to 24 hours per visit .

• Commercial activity is prohibited.

• Personal watercraft, such as jet-skis, kayaks, canoes or any other personal watercraft are prohibited at the Great Kills Park Boat Launch.
  

Fishing/Parking Permits
A fishing/parking permit is required to park at all times at Crooke's Point and after hours throughout the rest of the Staten Island Units. 2024 Permits will go on sale ONLINE ONLY through Recreation.gov at 10 am on March 1. Find out more on the 2024 Permits Page.

Sports League Permits (Miller Field)

Fall Season sports leagues permits for low and medium impact sports are now available. Permits are only available through phone call, e-mail, or appointment.
