Being a historic home, Frederick Law Olmsted National Historic Site does not have air conditioning in the historic design studio, and on some Summer days, it is unsafe for us to go into the historic design office with the heat. Once we enter extreme caution (orange) all interior tours are cancelled. Keep this in mind when planning a trip to Fairsted.
