Fort Washington Park, Piscataway Park, and Oxon Cove Park have many permitted activities each year. The Division of Permits Management is located within the National Mall and Memorial Parks next to the parks headquaters on Hains Point in Washington DC.
Hours of OperationThe Division of Permits Management is open Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4 pm. PaymentsApplication fee payments are accepted by credit card, check and money order. Payment instructions are included on the application; please call 202-245-4715 if further instructions are needed.Any additional required payments and instructions will be discussed during the permitting process after the application is received. Receiving ApplicationsPermit applications are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis and are date and time stamped upon arrival for documentation of order received. Applications can be submitted no sooner than one year in advance of the activity.Locations for permitted activities are allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis. For best results and to ensure timely processing, permit applications should be submitted in person or via overnight carrier service. Normal postal delivery can take 7-10 days to arrive. |
